Store Associates Now Able to Make Personalized and Curated Suggestions to Drive In-Store Sales

Tulip Retail, a mobile application platform built exclusively for retail stores and sales associates, and SmarterHQ, the leading multi-channel behavioral marketing platform, today announce they have formed a strategic partnership enabling retailers to empower store associates with valuable customer insights from online activity to personalize the in-store experience and drive sales.

The SmarterHQ platform will be integrated into Tulip Retail’s mobile application, giving store associates the ability to view all customer activity from all touchpoints in a single unified customer view. The Tulip Mobile Associate App customer profile can now be extended with SmarterHQ’s behavioral data that includes an individual customer’s online browsing history, preferences, and past purchases. Equipped with mobile devices and enhanced real-time customer data, sales associates can provide personalized recommendations in real-time and enhance the entire customer shopping journey.

  • Integrated Personalization Solution – The shopper’s previous online browsing and purchase history of individual products, imported from SmarterHQ into Tulip Retail, will appear as an additional tab on the tablet or smartphone that a store associate can either review with the customer or use as a guide for what the consumer may be interested in while visiting the store.
  • Personalized Clienteling – Products viewed online can be used to personalize emails and text messages that store associates send to their top customers. Communications can be tracked in SmarterHQ and online to determine whether the customer’s online purchase was triggered by a personal message from an associate.
